ANZAC Biscuits hold a special place in our hearts. They evoke more than just the anticipation for the buttery, chewy sweetness; they are a symbol of Australian pride and reflection of our spirit and courage. This ANZAC Day we honour that spirit with Jaq's Snaqs be. Health Golden Oaty Biscuits.

Ingredients

be. Health Collagen Supplements

1 cup of plain flour (use GF version if making GF)
1 cup of rolled oats
2/3 cup coconut sugar
2/3 cup desiccated coconut
125g butter chopped
2 tbsp golden syrup
½ tsp bicarb soda
2 tbsp be. Health Pure Collagen powder

*Gluten free if using GF Flour,

 Method

  1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees/140 fan forced. Line baking trays with baking paper
  2. Combine oats, flour, sugar and coconut in a bowl. Set aside.
  3. Place butter, syrup and 2 tablespoons cold water in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir for 2 minutes or until butter has melted. Stir in bicarbonate of soda and quickly remove from heat. Stir butter mixture into oat mixture.
  4. Roll level tablespoons of mixture into balls. Place on trays, 5cm apart. Flatten slightly. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until light golden. Stand on trays for 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve.
